I hate to be the one to say it but with the days getting shorter and the cooler air in the mornings, fall is coming. So with that, I have been trying to take advantage of all the summer fruit while they are still available! Today I will be sharing a summer fruit salad with a honey lime dressing! In my opinion any fruit combination tastes great but I really like the one in this recipe! There is a variety of textures and the honey lime dressing pulls it all together. My favourite ways to eat fruit salads are on their own as a snack or topped over yogurt for breakfast! This recipe stays good in the fridge for about 5 days.
I used a melon baller to scoop the watermelon and make watermelon balls. This is totally optional but it is a fun way to present the fruit if you are bringing a fruit salad to a gathering. See how to use a melon baller here.
