In fact, the National Cinnamon Roll Day celebration is held annually on the 4th of October. And this famous day was celebrated for the first time in 19 years in Sweden.

For the Dough:

  • Carbquik: If you’ve never heard of Carbquik, it’s a delicious baking mix that’s comparable to Bisquick but without all the carbs!  “I recommend keeping this ingredient in your pantry at all times because it is ideal for all your LOW-CARB baking needs.”
  • Water: to combine the dough.

For the Filling:

  • Butter: Do not let the butter melt, it should be at room temperature before using it.
  • Brown Swerve: It’s a convenient alternative to brown sugar that’s packed with carbs, trust me when you use it in this Keto Cinnamon Rolls recipe you’ll get a delicious sweetness.
  • Cinnamon: It’s the main and magic ingredient for the delicious flavor you get in this recipe.

Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • Cream Cheese: Again, you should leave it at room temperature before using it.

  2. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes, then put it on a kitchen countertop after being sprinkled with a little Carbquik.
  3. Before moving on to the next stage, I advise you to let the dough rest for 5 minutes and then roll it out into a large rectangle.
  4. Then brush the dough with butter, brown swerve, and cinnamon.
  5. Take a baking tray, and put Keto Cinnamon Rolls in it (Of course, after rolling it lengthwise and cutting it into 9 cinnamon rolls).
  6. These keto cinnamon rolls should cook for 25 minutes at 375 degrees. After you take them out of the oven, let them rest for five minutes to cool.
  7. To make the smooth icing, simply whisk together the cream cheese, butter, swerve and vanilla.
  8. Once the mixture is smooth and creamy, place it directly on top of your keto cinnamon rolls.

Cinnamon Roll Variations

This is more than good if you want to add extra tasty flavor! Here are some suggestions that might be useful to you.

Sugar-free chocolate: There are two ways to use the melted chocolate, either by placing a few on top of the keto cinnamon rolls instead of the cream. Or you can add it to the cinnamon roll rectangle before rolling it.

Nuts (for extra crunch): Before rolling the keto cinnamon rolls, sprinkle your favorite nuts along the rectangle.

Orange Juice: If you are a fan of orange juice, you can add a tablespoon of fresh orange juice to the icing – you will get a fantastic taste.

Tips and Tricks For a Successful Keto Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

  • If you like the salty taste, you can easily add pre-shredded mozzarella to this recipe.
  • If you’re having trouble working with the dough, try putting a little nut oil in your hand to help you control it better.
  • After covering the dough with a delicious cinnamon filling, I advise you to use parchment paper under the dough in order to roll it well and control it. This method is similar to making sushi.
  • Keto cinnamon rolls can only be stored in the fridge for a week – they’re really good the next day as a keto-friendly snack.
