Mushroom-Stuffed Chicken Breast

Steps

  • 1. Wash chicken fillet and dry from excess moisture with paper towels. Separate small fillets from meat, we will not need it for the stuffed chicken breasts recipe. In each chicken breast let’s make a knife cut, as in the photo. Carefully cut the meat, forming a pocket. Try not to cut through the breast.
  • 2. Rub the prepared meat with a mixture of salt and spices, pour with olive oil and leave to marinate for 30 minutes. Thanks to marinade, the mushroom stuffed chicken breast, the recipe of which I will tell you in detail, will be very fragrant.
  • 3. In the meantime, let’s make a filling. Peel onions and cut into small cubes. Wash fresh champignons and cut into cubes. Wash carrots, peel them and grind on a large grater.
  • 4. Put the crushed ingredients in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil. Stir periodically and fry the filling on medium heat until vegetables and mushrooms are ready.
  • 5. At the end of the preparation, add garlic clove passed through the press, finely chopped dill and salt to taste. Stir the filling and cool it to room temperature.
  • 6. Fill the marinated chicken breasts with a finished filling.
  • 7. Each fillet is wrapped in parchment paper so that the stuffed chicken breast holds the shape well. Put the blanks on a baking sheet or in a heat-resistant baking ware.
  • 8. Send the cheesy garlic butter mushroom stuffed chicken to the oven heated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes. Then take the meat from the oven, carefully unfold the parchment, and supplement the chicken breasts with grated cheese. Return the meat to the oven for another 5-7 minutes so that the cheese on top melts and becomes brown.
  • 9. Now you know how to make stuffed chicken breast. Serve the finished dish hot.
  • 10. Bon Appetite!
