Air-Fryer Sausages and Potatoes

Have you ever had one of those days where nothing comes to mind as to what to prepare for dinner?  If you like one-pan meals try this Air-Fryer Sausages and Potatoes recipe. This sausage and potato meal is a quick recipe that can be made and put on your table in 30 minutes.  One-pan Air-Fryer Sausages and Potatoes recipe is so simple and tasty that it will leave everyone pleasantly happy.  You can also substitute the port sausages with chicken, beef, or turkey.  I used Greek Choriatika (pork) sausages, which are very similar to Italian pork sausages.  One step you should not forget it to use a sharp knife to slice the sausages lengthwise.

I had a few baby potatoes in my pantry which I cut into cube shapes to cook quicker in the Air-Fryer.  I marinated and seasoned the potatoes with olive oil, lemon juice, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Then I set it aside for 10 minutes so that the potatoes could soak up all those delicious flavors.  A recipe that is so versatile that you can switch spices and herbs to your tasting.  I chose to use dry oregano as my herb rather than fresh oregano.  If you use fresh oregano the taste will be milder than the dried oregano but this is up to you.

Before placing the potatoes and sausages into the Air Fryer spray the basket with olive oil or vegetable oil.  You can also place a sheet of parchment paper and or aluminum foil.  Place the sausages first into the basket and then add the marinated potatoes.   I didn’t preheat the air fryer I put the temperature up to 190 for 20 minutes.  Sausages and potatoes in the air fryer don’t get any easier, so go ahead and give this a try.

Air-fryer sausages and potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pork sausages sliced lengthwise
  • 10 baby potatoes cubed
  • 1 tbsp dry oregano
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • cup olive oil

Instructions
 

  • slice the sausages lengthwise with a sharp knife.
  • In a large bowl add the spices, herbs, lemon juice, and olive olive. Give it a good stir and set aside to marinate.
  • Put the air fryer to 190 for 20 minutes. Cook until potatoes and sausages are tender.
